RE Johnson Electric has been on a constant track of growth, providing quality electrical contracting services to Northwestern Pennsylvania for over 31 years. Expanding from a small commercial electrical contractor business, RE Johnson now offers industrial, commercial, residential, and specialty projects, all with smart building technology in mind.
We have built an educated team of employees with a vast knowledge and extensive experience across the electrical field with numerous specialty projects. Because of our heavy focus on technical skills and training, paired with our never-ending willingness to expand and learn, we provide many services that others in the field are unable to offer. Johnson Electric offers products and services for your home or business that will help save you money and help to conserve the environment. We like to begin our initial services by performing a diagnostic energy audit, followed by implementing our recommended cost effective measures for your home, commercial business, or industrial/manufacturing facility. We partner with local suppliers who pride themselves on energy saving solutions and products. Along with our energy audits and local sourcing, we use renewable resource products, occupancy sensor lighting and energy efficient lighting to help you save energy and save money.
Richard Johnson
In 1988, Richard Johnson saw a need for a small commercial electrical contractor in Crawford County. RE Johnson Electric was founded and work began with one warehouse wiring and addition/construction project. In 1991, Johnson Electric moved into our first office. Then, in 1996 built our first warehouse with six employees. In 2002 we moved to our Saegertown location on State Street and in 2017 to our current location at 329 Mill Street where we currently have 18 employees. Richard is active in The Boy Scouts of America, serves as the trap shooting coach for Saegertown High School, sits on the Advisory Board for the Erie County and Crawford County Vocational School, and is a lifetime member of the Blooming Valley Volunteer Fire Department. Richard resides in Saegertown with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children.
Don Williams
Don Williams began his career at RE Johnson Electric in 1996 as an electrical apprentice after completing two years at the Crawford County Vo-Tech. He completed his four-year apprenticeship in 2000 with a journeyman certificate. Don worked in the field for over ten years supervising various projects. He transitioned into the administrative side of the business in 2006, holding roles as an estimator/project manager. He is currently the Vice President of sales and estimating.
Bill Braden
In 1995, a Junior in the Electrical Occupation Program at the Crawford County Vo-Tech, Bill began working for R.E. Johnson Electric as an Electrical intern and was then offered a Co-op opportunity. After graduating from Conneaut Valley High School in 1996, Bill began working for R.E. Johnson as an Electrical Apprentice. After completing his 4-year apprenticeship, he became a Job Foreman, Field Supervisor, and is currently serving the company as Head of Operations. Bill resides in Springboro, Pennsylvania with his wife, Kim and three children. He enjoys camping hunting, riding ATV’s and Volunteers with the Springboro and Conneautville Fire Departments.
Robert (Stub) Steiner
Robert (Stub) Steiner has been working for RE Johnson Electric, Inc. for 29 years. Because of his vast knowledge of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work and unwavering positive customer feedback, he has been the service department manager for 19 years. Stub began his career with RE Johnson Electric as an apprentice in 1990 and worked as a job supervisor for ten years. He also completed classes in 2015 to become a Kohler certified generator technician.
Carley Steiger
Carley Steiger started working for RE Johnson Electric in 2012 with Crawford County Career and Tech Center's CO-OP program. She worked in the field for the first part of her career installing mostly low voltage systems. She later transitioned into the office and currently works as a project estimator.
